The fourth and final stage of the Dynotots programme is the Pre-School known as Big Guys. To be eligible for Big Guys children must turn four before December 31 of the same year they begin attend.

This programme prepares children for entry into “Reception” or “Year One” at the local international schools the following school year.

Students attend five sessions a week - Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8.30am until 11.30am and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8.30am until 2.30pm. Tuesdays and Thursdays are known by the children as “long days” and children are required to bring a packed lunch from home on these days.

The Big Guys programme allows the older child to develop the necessary skills for primary/elementary school. Teachers encourage the children to gain fundamental social and organisational skills, familiarity with certain tools and tasks and to foster confidence in a small secure group.

The maximum number of children that can be accommodated in Big Guys is 12. Space permitting, a new member can begin attending sessions at any time during the year. There is only one intake of children from Little Guys in August of each year.

A number of important housekeeping rules for parents and children are explained on the welcome sheet that all parents receive when their child starts at Dynotots.
